Ahmed Salim Al Masroori

Chairman of Board of Directors

Ahmed Al Masroori has an extensive background spanning over 20 years of practical experience in the realms of law, judiciary, and administration. Commencing his journey in 2004, he embarked on his career with the Public Prosecution, steadily ascending the judicial ladder to attain the esteemed position of Assistant Public Prosecutor. Throughout his tenure, he represented the Public Prosecution across many criminal and appellate courts within the Sultanate. Notably, he served as a member of the judicial inspection for two years. His leadership acumen was further demonstrated through his roles as Director of Public Prosecution across various states and governorates within the Sultanate.

Ahmed Al Masroori participated in many workshops and training seminars, both locally and internationally, focusing on preliminary investigations and courtroom litigation across all judicial levels. His areas of expertise include handling complex cases such as money laundering, juvenile proceedings, labor law disputes, and consumer protection issues. Additionally, he contributed to several committees related to legislative amendments and strategic planning, representing the Sultanate in foreign conferences. Furthermore, he delivered many legal lectures and conducted various training courses in his field of expertise.

Ahmed Al Masroori holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Faculty of Sharia and Law, obtained in 2003. He furthered his academic pursuit by earning a Master’s degree in Management from the University of Dhofar in 2017. Additionally, he obtained a legal trainer’s certificate accredited by the Higher Institute of Magistracy in 2019.

Dr. Said bin Salim Al-Qalhati

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Dr. Said Al Qalhati brings valuable practical experience from his tenure in the judiciary. He started his career journey in 2008 as a secretary at the Court of First Instance in Seeb, advancing to the role of an assistant judge in 2012. In 2015, he assumed the position of judge at the Court of First Instance in Muscat. Subsequently, in 2020, he established the office of Dr. Said Al Qalhati Advocates and Legal Consultancy and later became a founding partner of Al Qalhati and Al Masroori Advocates and Legal Consultancy in March 2021.

Throughout his government service, Dr. Said Al Qalhati participated in many organizational and development projects within the judicial facility and conducted many awareness lectures during his tenure.

Dr. Said Al Qalhati graduated from the Institute of Sharia Sciences in 2007, specializing in Sharia. Subsequently, in 2009, he obtained a postgraduate diploma in law from the Institute of Legal Research and Studies of the League of Arab States. He then obtained a high diploma in judicial studies from the Higher Institute of the Judiciary in Nizwa in 2015 with outstanding performance. Continuing his scholarly pursuits, he completed his doctoral studies at Hassan I University in Morocco in 2019, achieving an excellent academic record.

Fahad Ali Salim Al Qalhati

Appellate Lawyer

Fahad Al Qalhati has up to five years of field experience in the legal field, with a focus on pleadings across various case types.  He joined our law firm in 2016, where he actively engaged in training seminars, honing his skills in litigation before courts of first instance. Additionally, Fahad holds an arbitration license from the Arab Republic of Egypt and has gained practical exposure by attending arbitration sessions across various cases.

Mazin Said Hamad Al Masroori

Trial Attorney

Mazin Al Masroori studied law at Sultan Qaboos University, graduating in 2018. Throughout his academic tenure, he actively engaged in various events, training programs, and legal workshops, enriching his educational experience. He gained practical exposure during his studies through training at the Administrative Court. Currently employed as a lawyer at Al Qalhati and Al Masroori Advocates and Legal Consultancy, Mazin harbors ambitions of specializing in commercial law as he progresses in his career.

Maysoon Tambal Othman

Legal Consultant

Maysoon Tambal possesses extensive legal experience spanning over 22 years, gained from her tenure in law firms and offices across both the Republic of Sudan and the Sultanate of Oman. Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Law in 2001, she furthered her academic achievement by obtaining a Master’s degree in Public Law in 2013, supplemented by a professional degree in law in 2002. With a focus on commercial arbitration, Maysoon actively participated in many significant arbitration cases within the Sultanate. Additionally, her expertise extends to areas such as commercial law and labor issues.

Elham Salim Rashid Al Hashmi

Lawyer Elham Al Hashimi works at Al Qalhati & Al Masroori Law Firm and Legal Consultations. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Law from Sultan Qaboos University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Al Buraimi University College. She has participated in several legal courses and workshops, which have equipped her with various skills such as legal research, analysis, drafting legal documents, and other skills required for the legal profession.

Anfal Yahya Nasser Al Rawahi

Trial Attorney

Anfal Al Rawahi, a graduate of the Faculty of Law at Sultan Qaboos University, currently serves as a primary lawyer at Al Qalhati and Masruri Advocates and Legal Consultancy. With a comprehensive skill set, she adeptly handles a wide range of legal matters including criminal, civil, legal, commercial, and labor cases.

Her professional journey includes training in many legal institutions such as Public Prosecution and administrative courts. Through these experiences,  she has developed an exceptional proficiency in various legal procedures, including interrogation techniques and administrative law.

 

Moreover, Anfal Al Rawahi excels in drafting a variety of legal documents including trusts, wills, contracts, certificates, transfer of assets, and memoranda. Her effective communication skills further enable her to advocate and defend clients in court with confidence and competence.

Salah Salim Hamad Al Masroori

Business Development Consultant

Salah Al Masroori boasts a rich and diverse career spanning both the public and private sectors. Currently serving as a business and marketing consultant at Al Qalhati and Al Masroori Advocates and Legal Consultancy, he has navigated through various roles and responsibilities over the years.

 

Beginning his career by working for short periods at Al Shrqiya Investment Holding Company and Tadhamon Housing Finance, Salah Al Masroori’s journey truly took off when he joined the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in 1998. Progressing through the ranks, he eventually assumed key positions such as Assistant Director General for Administrative and Financial Affairs and Assistant Director General for Planning and Follow-up.

 

In 2014, Salah embarked on a new chapter by joining the Public Authority for Mining, where he played a pivotal role in establishing its administrative and financial infrastructure. His tenure culminated in the role of Director General of Administrative and Financial Affairs until his retirement in 2019.

 

Post-retirement, he provided many technical services as an expert for project management and organizational change in the Public Authority for Mining and the Ministry of Energy and Minerals. His focus areas encompassed environmental conservation, the social responsibility of mining companies, and the empowerment of small and medium enterprises in the mining sector. Salah Al Masroori also carries out his own business in the fields of information technology, security systems, and smart buildings.

 

During his government service, Salah Al Masroori participated in many vital committees, councils, and projects, leaving a significant impact on initiatives such as business re-engineering, investment in human resources, and the Oman Mining Strategy Project. Additionally, Salah actively participated in projects aimed at establishing an electronic mining platform, enhancing control and inspection measures for mining facilities, and implementing quality management protocols. His involvement extended to drafting the unified civil service law and overseeing the General Census of Population, Housing, and Establishments in 2010 as the General Supervisor of the Wilayat of Bawsher. Beyond his governmental duties, Salah Al Masroori made significant contributions to the Omani Encyclopedia and engaged in volunteer work and environmental conservation efforts.

 

Salah Al Masroori graduated from Sultan Qaboos University in 1997 specializing in archaeology and later pursued a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Griffith University in Australia in 2013.

Ashjan Abdullah Said Al Qalhati

Business Specialist

Ashjan Al Qalhati studied financial and banking accounting at the University College of Sur, culminating in her graduation in 2019. Throughout her academic tenure, she actively engaged in various practical training programs, enriching her expertise in the fields of accounting and finance. Presently, Ashjan excels as a business specialist at Al Qalhati and Masroori Advocates and Legal Consultancy.

Dr. Ahmed Mousa Abdulaziz Eldabi

Legal Advisor – Certified Arbitrator – University Lecturer

Dr. Ahmed Eldabi has over 24 years of extensive experience in the legal field. After graduating from university in 2000, he started his career working and training in major Egyptian law firms under the supervision of former professors and court presidents. In 2002 he established his own firm in Advocacy and Legal Consultancy. In 2007, he joined as a legal advisor to major real estate investment companies in Egypt. In 2009, he assumed the position of legal advisor to the agent of the Italian company MATEST, which specializes in soil and concrete devices in Egypt. In 2013, he served as a legal advisor in the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity. In 2021, he moved to work in Turkey as a legal consultant in major Turkish law firms, in addition to working as an arbitrator in a Turkish arbitration center for oil and natural gas disputes. Dr. Ahmed is currently the Legal Consultant forAl Qalahati & Masroori Advocates & Legal Consultants.

Dr. Ahmed has participated in many local and international conferences. He has also worked as a trainer and lecturer in local and international workshops and training programs, covering various areas such as: modern standards for preparing legal memoranda and drafting administrative decisions, negotiation strategies and drafting oil and gas contracts, legal risks in cybersecurity, and legal compliance and its impact on the growth of companies.

Dr. Ahmed received his LLB degree in 2000, then received his Criminal Law Diploma in 2011 , his Public Law Diploma in 2012, andin the same year, he received his Master of Laws degree with a very good grade. His academic career was crowned in 2021 with a PhD in Law from Cairo University with a very good grade.
